Terms & Conditions
This is a readable summary of the rules that matter most. It does not replace the full Terms and Conditions. If anything is unclear, ask us before booking.

Royal First
One 60-minute introductory group lesson for a new adult player, once only and subject to a suitable available group. No regular weekly place.
The terms shown at booking apply. Once delivered, it is not credited or refunded because you choose not to continue.
Single / flexible session
One booked session. No regular weekly place.
Cancel 48+ hours before the start for a full refund.
10-session package
Ten flexible sessions. No guaranteed weekly place unless expressly agreed.
Cancel 24+ hours before the start and the session stays in your package.
Season / fixed slot
Your place on all agreed dates, normally 24 winter sessions.
Before the Season starts: 15+ days gives a full refund less CHF 50 and committed third-party costs; under 15 days carries a 15% charge plus those costs. After the Season starts, withdrawal is not refundable. A missed lesson may qualify for a make-up within 15 days.
Junior fixed-term trial
A fixed trial period with agreed dates and sessions.
It follows the fixed-term rule unless RRA identifies it as flexible.
Event / tournament
One fixed-date event.
Cancel 48+ hours before the start unless the event clearly states another rule.
Camp
A fixed programme over one or more days.
35+ days: full refund. 15–34 days: RRA retains 50%. 0–14 days: RRA retains 100%.
2. How bookings work
A suitable place. For group sessions, we may first check that the level and group are the right fit. Once we offer you a place, the required fulfilment secures it. No separate formal confirmation document is needed.
Direct bookings. For an available individual session, the booking is accepted through the usual booking channel. If advance payment is required, the place is secured when that payment is completed.
If we cannot accept. If you pay before we accept the booking, or because of an administrative error, and we cannot provide the requested place, we will promptly return the payment unless you choose an alternative.
What controls. Your accepted booking details tell you the price, dates, session count, group format, location and what is included. A specific rule agreed for your booking takes priority.
Packages. Packages are personal unless RRA approves a transfer. Check the validity period shown before payment.
Payment. Season places, 10-session packages, camps and events are paid in full in advance. Unless we agree otherwise, payment for other bookings is also due before the booking or place is secured.
Late arrival. The session still ends at the scheduled time.
3. Cancellation and termination by product
How to cancel. Tell RRA directly through your booking channel or at info@royalracket.ch. A cancellation takes effect when RRA receives it. Telling another player is not enough.
Royal First
The cancellation terms shown at booking apply. Once delivered, Royal First is not refunded or credited merely because you decide not to continue.
Single or drop-in session
Cancel at least 48 hours before the start for a refund or agreed reschedule. With later notice or a no-show, the session remains payable or the prepaid price is retained.
10-session package
One session. Cancel a booked session at least 24 hours before the start and it stays in your package. A later cancellation or no-show is deducted.
Unused package. Before the first session is used, you may request termination. RRA deducts committed non-recoverable third-party costs and a CHF 50 administration fee.
Package already started. If RRA accepts termination after use starts, used and late-cancelled sessions are repriced at the normal non-package price that applied when you bought the package. RRA also deducts committed non-recoverable costs and the CHF 50 administration fee.
Season or fixed-slot programme
Before the Season starts. We understand that plans can change. If you cancel before the first scheduled session:
15 days or more before: full refund less a CHF 50 administration fee and non-refundable third-party costs already committed specifically for the booking.
Less than 15 days before: RRA retains 15% of the Season fee plus those committed third-party costs.
If RRA fills the released place: RRA may reduce the charge to CHF 50 plus unavoidable third-party costs. Any remaining balance is refunded.
After the Season starts. Once the first scheduled session has started, the remaining Season fee is not refundable merely because the player withdraws. RRA may reallocate the place, but that does not automatically create a refund or credit.
Missing one lesson. You may request one make-up in another suitable-level group within 15 calendar days after a missed lesson. It depends on a vacant place and RRA’s advance approval and is not guaranteed. It cannot be transferred, extended or exchanged for a refund or credit.
Extended illness or injury. For an absence of more than four consecutive weeks, send a medical certificate confirming inability to participate and the expected period. RRA will consider a fair freeze, extension, transfer or credit; cash refund is not automatic.
Junior trial or starter programme
Unless RRA clearly identifies it as flexible, it follows the same cancellation and withdrawal rules as a Season or fixed-slot programme.
Camps
When RRA receives the cancellation
Amount of prepaid camp price retained by RRA
35 or more days before camp starts
0%; RRA refunds the prepaid price
15 to 34 days before
50%; RRA refunds 50%
0 to 14 days before
100%; RRA refunds 0%
A no-show is treated as a cancellation on the camp start date, so no refund is due.
Events and tournaments
Cancel at least 48 hours before the start for a full refund unless the event clearly states another deadline. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded.
Refund timing. Approved refunds are normally returned through the original payment method within 30 days after RRA has the information needed to process them.
4. If RRA changes or cancels something
The simple rule: If RRA cannot deliver the agreed service, RRA makes it right with a reasonable replacement, restored package session, credit or refund for the undelivered part.
Coach. RRA may provide a suitable replacement coach. A coach change by itself is not a cancellation.
Court or location. RRA may move a session to a reasonable alternative court for weather, safety or availability. There is no extra charge unless you agree.
Group size. RRA may propose a suitable group merge, reassignment, reschedule or format change. RRA cannot simply impose a higher price on an accepted booking.
One-player group. If only one player remains, RRA may offer a private format with an agreed price adjustment or a suitable alternative group.
Weather. RRA may move outdoor play indoors. If no suitable alternative is available and RRA cancels, you receive a replacement, credit or refund.
Low registrations. If a group, camp or event cannot run safely or viably, RRA will look for an equivalent option. If none is available or accepted, the undelivered part is refunded.
5. Juniors
Guardian booking. A parent or authorised guardian makes the booking and provides correct contact, emergency and safety information.
Supervision. Unless the programme says otherwise, RRA supervises children only during the scheduled session and in the training area.
Arrival and collection. Guardians remain responsible before and after the session. Permission for a child to arrive or leave alone must be agreed with RRA in writing.
Safety and behaviour. Children must follow coach instructions. RRA may contact the guardian or remove a child from an activity if safety or welfare requires it.
Concerns. Please tell RRA promptly about any child-welfare, harassment, discrimination or serious misconduct concern so protective action can be taken.
6. Safety, behaviour and insurance
Fitness. Participants should be fit to take part and tell the coach about limitations that matter for safe training.
Conduct. Unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or repeatedly disruptive behaviour may lead to suspension or exclusion.
Insurance. Participants need their own health, accident and personal liability cover. Normal sporting risks remain part of tennis, while RRA remains responsible for the duties Swiss law places on it.
Belongings. Please look after personal property at the venue.
7. Photos, videos and personal data
Two checkboxes, one registration. The website form has one required checkbox for accepting the T&Cs and one separate optional checkbox for media consent. Both start unticked. Leaving the media box unticked does not affect ordinary training or your booking.
Voluntary media consent. If you opt in, RRA may use identifiable group, background and ordinary action photos or video on RRA’s website, social media channels operated by or for RRA, newsletters, community and event updates, printed promotional materials and paid, sponsored or boosted advertising for RRA services.
When we ask again. General media consent does not cover prominently featuring or naming someone, using their voice, interviewing or quoting them, or using a testimonial. RRA will first show the intended content and context and ask for a specific recorded approval. This happens later and is not a third registration checkbox.
Coaching video. Technique-review, coaching-feedback, safety and operational recordings stay separate from marketing. RRA explains the purpose, access and expected retention before recording and does not publish them without the required consent.
Minors. RRA publishes an identifiable photo or video of a child only with consent from the parent or legal guardian, and also respects the child’s own age-appropriate objection.
Respect and choice. RRA will not knowingly publish degrading, inappropriate, misleading or harmful material. Consent may be withdrawn for future use at info@royalracket.ch. RRA will stop new use and remove material from channels it controls without undue delay, normally within 30 days, although printed, distributed or independently shared copies may not be recoverable. RRA may retain a limited consent and withdrawal record where reasonably required.
Privacy and other participants. Please do not record or publish other players, children or coaches without permission. RRA handles personal data under its privacy policy and applicable law.
